Buying a business
Advent always act in the seller's best interest. However, we know their interest is best served by an honest relationship with you, the buyer.
We work hard to ensure that sellers provide us with the information potential buyers are likely to request in order to make an informed decision. This can help buyers to decide more easily about how they would like to proceed, whilst saving them valuable time and energy.
And not only that; if you can't see what you're looking for just call us for an informal chat. With plenty of businesses coming through on a regular basis there might be something just about to go live. Plus, we can make a note of your requirements and contact you when new instructions come in that match your criteria, so you'll be one of the first to know.
Try our search engine now to browse hundreds of businesses. You can email us for more information or simply call us on 0844 800 9092. You'll find our negotiators knowledgeable, friendly and able to access information you need quickly from our industry-leading database.
Step 1: You can search our online database to find the businesses that meet your specifications. You'll find it easy to search by business type and price. Contact us if you'd like to know more or to be included on our mailing list for upcoming business opportunities.
Step 2: When you're ready, call us to arrange a viewing. Given that its common practice, we’re likely to ask you to complete a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect the seller's confidentiality. Also, please don't be surprised if we make enquiries about how you intend to fund the purchase of the business. TOP HINT: Sellers prefer to deal with potential buyers who are able to explain how they will finance the purchase, as they are likely to be serious buyers in their opinion.
Our experienced sales negotiators can provide specific knowledge of the business – ask as many questions as you like and they'll do all they can to provide the right information for your needs and arrange a convenient time for viewing.
Step 3: If you're not ready to make an offer yet or the business isn't right for you then let us know and we'll endeavour to find one that is.
If you are ready then don't forget you can make an offer subject to contract and due diligence. There is no obligation until completion although you will need to show that finances are in place for your offer to be accepted and the purchase to proceed.
